At Phoenix Truck Driving Institute in Albuquerque, we understand that not everyone can afford to pay for truck driving school. We’re committed to providing a range of funding options to support our students, especially those connected to military service.
Spouses and dependent children ages 18-26 of deceased or 100 percent disabled veterans may be eligible applicants for educational assistance if the veteran’s death or disability was service-connected. This support can be crucial in continuing your education and achieving your goals.
Qualified veterans are entitled to a monthly subsistence payment, helping to ease the financial burden while studying for a commercial driver’s license. Eligibility for this benefit extends for 10 years following separation, offering substantial support and a way to pay for CDL training.
Qualified veterans can access grants for CDL training up to $20,000 in annual tuition assistance (Aug 1 – July 31). With a 15-year eligibility period post-separation, this program is one of the most robust supports available. Additionally, it may be transferred to a spouse or children under specific conditions. The GI Bill® for truck drivers also provides living expenses directly to veterans while they are enrolled, ensuring a more comfortable and focused learning experience.
Your success is our top priority at Phoenix Truck Driving Institute. Our goal is not only to provide exceptional CDL training but also to ensure that each of our students finds rewarding employment upon obtaining their commercial license.
We offer job placement assistance and pre-hires for qualifying students, with potential reimbursement of up to 100% of your tuition.
Our dedicated team works tirelessly to match you with the right employer, setting the stage for a successful career in truck driving.
At Phoenix Truck Driving Institute, we’re more than just a school – we’re a gateway to new opportunities and a brighter future.
